GE Indoor Receiver Module Review: Worked well for what I wanted it for once I got the right transmitters. There is SmarHome and SmartHome Plus, don’t mix and match. Buy all of one kind, SmartHome Plus is the newer version. Usually sold in pairs 1 each. I wanted one Receiver and 3 Transmitters making it much more difficult to find. I got a mix of SmarHome and SmartHome Plus from 2 different venders, they weren’t compatible. So buy all you get from the same vendor and make sure they are compatible before you buy.
GE Indoor Receiver Module Review: GE Smart Home products are great for the hard to reach outlet like the one behind the refriderator or if you want to contol several outlets together. We purchased several of them for Christmas lights. Just plug any thing into the GE Smart Home outlet and it becomes remote control as long as you also purchase the transmitter device. However, be aware that GE Smart Home transmitters will not operate GE Smart Home Plus devices, but GE Smart Home Plus transmitters will operate GE Smart Home products.

Intermatic Home Settings Wireless Kit Review: When my son was 4 he took apart every clock in the house and put them back together. Since that time he has bought every new electronic product and is now a computer design engineer. Wasn’t I lucky that he came to visit the day after the Intermatic Home Settings Wireless System arrived. We had a fun mother and son couple of hours while he set the system up. As a matter of fact he wants to set everything in the house with a wireless system.
Last year a bear came to visit my next door neighbor’s bird feeder, but he stopped at my house to rummage around. This year his visit will be lit up! My son arranged for outdoor lighting that will not be too intrusive and will illuminate the night if need be. The lights are set to the coming of night and with Daylight Savings Time included.

Strathwood Naples Sling Arm Chair Review: Just got the chairs this week. They look just like the pictures. However, every chair is a little wobbly or crooked on the legs. They seem to even out with your weight when you sit on them. We have not tried to adjust the screws to get them level. I assume they were either assembled without being level or that happened during shipping. Some of the plastic end caps came broken off already. I have not assembled the table yet, but that will be in another review. It is a shame you have to pay shipping for each set of 2 chairs.
Strathwood Naples Sling Arm Chair Review: These chairs look great but beware of faulty weld points on the weak cast-metal with overall design support system is faulty. We already have had one chair simply fold up on itself and collapse with normal use by adults of regular weight in only two months! Unfortunately these chairs were ordered too long ago for Amazon to give refund.

Strathwood Falkner 3 Seater Deep Lounge Sofa Review: I purchased a sofa this season after enjoying the chairs and ottomans I had from last season. To my disappointment, the fabric on the cushions have been changed and it does not match the chairs. The delivery was great and the sofa is great but would have appreciated the option of having the original cushions or at least a notice that the fabric had been changed.
Strathwood Falkner 3 Seater Deep Lounge Sofa Review: Despite the other positive reviews on this sofa, it is poorly made. Although it looks nice and like more expensive outside furniture, mine broke in less than a week. The metal just split on one of the legs. Just for the record, I weigh 150 lbs, so it wasn’t an overloading issue.

Strathwood Balboa Deep Seat Corner Chair Review: I have the Balboa Collection; the corner piece, armless chair and the chaise, and have been very happy with it. I have had it for over a year on my patio and think that it looks great, the perfect piece for enjoying summer outdoors. The wood has held up well, there are a few places that it has split but nothing major and they are barley noticeable, mainly on the bottom of the legs. This occurred during winter since I live in a place with a lot of moisture I figured not storing the wood indoors could affect it, and was pleasantly surprised with the minimal amount of splitting. The cushions have held up well too and are very comfy.
The depth on the pieces are good for relaxing and the chaise is great to stretch out and read in the sun. I will mention that the chaise is not long enough to lay completely on your back and not have your feet hang off the edge, but it is the right size for reading while sitting and stretching out your legs. The ottoman has come in very handy as an extra place to stretch your legs if another person is sitting in the chaise portion or I have used it without the cushion as a cocktail table to put the wine and cheese on. Overall I think that the Balboa collection is a great item for my yard and am very happy with the quality and price.

Romantic Homes Review: I have enjoyed reading Romantic Homes for many years, but lately the style of the magazine has changed. Once you could count on every issue for romantic, whimsical, and lovely decorating and gardening ideas. The 2007 issues, however, have a very muddled style some articles/photo spreads are starkly modern, or downright pretentious. The Romantic Homes company itself has TERRIBLE customer service. The customer service representatives I’ve spoken to on the phone barely speak English, and are unable to perform simple tasks like an address change. Letters written to the customer service department receive no response at all. Romantic Homes is definitely not worth my money anymore.

Better Homes and Gardens Home Designe Review: I bought this program after giving up on Punch. Wow! What an improvement. First off I haven’t noticed the massive number of bugs that were in Punch. Secondly this program is much easier to use. It does take some getting use to and requires a bit of computer savvy. However I was well into designing my house within a day after buying it. My biggest recommendation is to make good use of the video tutorials and documentation. They are invaluable in getting up to speed. I have noticed a few negative comments here and I think some of them are based on lack of understand of the software. For instance I did not have near the trouble with roofs that some folks here evidently did.

Small World Toys Tool Box Review: In our family, Mommy is the one who fixes stuff. Because my little girl sees this, she kept stealing my real tools wanting to “help” me. This was the perfect way to give her her own tools and placate her a little. The tools are really durable and good for 2 year old hands. She still plays with this a year after she got it. My only complaint is that the tool box itself is a little small you have to put the tools in just a certain order to get it to shut they should use this as a MENSA test. Overall, great fun, good toy. Much better than the wood ones that splinter and break.
Small World Toys Tool Box Review: I bought this tool set because my 2 1/2 yr. old wanted to do want daddy was doing so she needed her own tools. Seems very realistic to her and she loves playing fix it.
